LLXX
Also check that the processor's cooling system is intact and working properly.
cluberti
Here's a silly question, but I'm surprised it hasn't been asked - what's the bug check STOP code?
mini12
No i don't think its a memory problem nor a processor fan error, I believe its a actual registry problem is there anyway i could reformat the hard drive without using the windows disk??? Tulkens
A very usefull way would be to boot from a Win PE CD.Depending on the problem, you might even recover some files or fix your problem
IcemanND
a little more detail on the BSOD would be helpful. but guessing windows\system32\config\SYSTEM is missing, or one of 3 or 4 others.Try this: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/307545/EN-US/?It's easier if you use BartPE or put the drive in another machine as a secondary drive and boot from a different drive.
