Yeah, the link sedative provided was real fast. I downloaded it, and since the keygen wasn't there when I first visited I did a look on usenet and found it. Installed the game, it won't play multiplayer online but works fine single player. I didn't burn it to CD I just mounted the .BIN/.CUE w/ Daemon Tools. Looks pretty good, better than the demo.

My mirror of the RtCW keygen is

the game only takes up 660megs on a cd most games images are bigger than the space they take up on a cd dont ask me why at a guess i expect its because the image stores information on where files go on the cd and maybe space is counted as bytes in images but thats just a guess...

u wont be able to play online unless u buy the game get a legit keygen and take the game back for a full refund.

u can still play online on private servers that have been patched with the private server patch (stops the server asking for a unique cd key) but i think u would have to get an ip for a private server from somewhere unless u know someone who is hosting a server.

that happens to me elite, its caused by that pants graphics card and onboard sound, i get it on quake and other games with large movies sometimes. i deleted that post sedative made, it was someones pub, dont want anyboard wars now do we... :)

ill host a server some times, be beter if bah does it we can get more of us on

be a laugh anyway, and xperties.. i just thrashed a mate on empire earth, he couldnt connect to me if i hosted, but i could connect to him! pity he was on dialup.. but it played fine.

now i think if i boot the pc without having ZA load on startup then try host you will be able to connect.. he has no firewall on so i think ZA affects empire earth. worth a try sometime anyway i can kick your but too then :blueteam :asshake :king

maybe this helps from the README

If you try to run Return to Castle Wolfenstein and receive the error message,

"Couldn't Load default.cfg", the game is basically telling you that it cannot

find the main directory that is part of Return To Castle Wolfenstein. This

error commonly occurs when the game is installed with no directory specified.

For example, if you choose to install it to a hard drive or partition other than

the C: drive (that is, D:,E:, etc.), but fail to specify a folder, the game will

install everything to the root of the hard drive and the game will not launch.

If you want to install the game to a hard drive other than the default setting

(C:), please make sure you specify a folder when choosing the other drive

(i.e.: D:RTCW).

if that dont help try changing your desktop to 16bit colors or updating your graphics card drivers only things i can think of6349
