Chozo4 Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 (edited) To start out, you can download or somehow obtain a WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editor such as frontpage or an open source editor on the net. This can get you started on making a web page.Fiddle around with it for a while, then switch it into the HTML view of what has been generated. You can learn by flipping back and forth to see what you have done using the editor. You can alternatively make changes yourself then flipping over to see what the changes have done to its appearance. As for your advertising and affilliates you want to add to a site, it would be best to not add them unless you really need some sort of revenue. Loads of advertising + newbie page (no offense to any work you have done) tends to drive poeple away. Advertising can also detract from the appearance of your site quite heavily unless you make the site in such a way to blend them in as to appear as part of your pages design. sakulati Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 You can use simple editor as notepad and follow the tutorials in http://www.w3schools.com or http://www.functionx.com you'll learn eventually.
matrix0978 Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 (edited) www.davesite.com, i learned from there about 4-5 years ago. Very easy, with examples. Its also all about repetition. You need to doing HTML over and over to get it stuck in your memory. Once you have the HTML down, other coding languages are then easy to learn. Edited February 24, 2006 by matrix0978
