Integrate XPize WITH custom switches... (& extras)

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I try to integrate XPize into an Windows XP source CD using this commandline:

xpize.exe /S /mode=i386 "/source=D:\XPCD_NL\I386" "/dest=D:\XPCD_NL\I386" /noboot /notask /nocmd

Unfortunately it doesn't work anymore with the latest version of XPize! :(

Is there a way to do this? I want ALL the extra's included EXCEPT the bootscreen, taskswitch & commandline colors.

Thanks!

Grab hevnbnd's version here

Open the ENTRIES_XPIZE40L.INI file and add the switches to the programadd section. Example:

[general]
builddate=2006/2/8
description=XPize MCE
language=English
title=XPize
version=4.2
website=http://xpero.msfn.org/

[EditFile]
I386\SVCPACK.INF,SetupHotfixesToRun,AddProgram

[AddProgram]
XPize42MCE.exe /noboot /notask /nocmd

I used different switches than what you want to use, but the ones I tried worked for me. I'm working on figuring all this stuff out myself, but for now, I'm relying on others' works, such as hevnbnd's release to get me started.

;This works:

xpize.exe /S /mode=i386 /source=C:\XPCD

;This does not work:

xpize.exe /S /mode=i386 /source=C:\XPCD\I386

;dest no longer available

;mode=normal no longer available

Also, remember that Extras are not included by default, so no need to add them.

xpize.exe /S /mode=i386 /source=D:\XPCD_NL <--this should work
