While integrated graphics seem to handle Windows XP and 2000 just fine, they won't be able to handle Vista.

Original Story

Card that currently support DirectX 9.0c will be able to take the challenge, however, all the others are completly out of the game.

Good news for some, and bads news for others. Want Vista? Buy a new computer! :blushing:

Yeah I just read that article...yikes was the first thought in my mind. But ah well...there will be some who will upgrade becasue they want something new like me and there will be those who wont because XP is more than enough!

Exactly!

Ill problably stay with XP. Not because I have to, but, because I want to.

I just wish someone will find a solution to the Memory Managment problems with XP! :(

Gripe gripe gripe...o_O

It doesn't bother me. I was able to install Longhorn on a box powered by a 300MHz AMDK6-2 and 128MB ram. Vista was a time-eater when I installed it to my P4. Other than that, it's not a serious problem right now.

bought a new PC just a few months back. Not worried about vista , Shall be running smoothly on AMD athlon 64 3000+ with onboard ATI xpress 200.

But i guess all the PCs of today are nearly 3 years old , SO by the time vista comes out , it is really time people upgrade their comps!!!
