TheEvilHammer
I just downloaded and installed QuickTime Alternative 1.68 and I've run into a problem. QuickTime "applets" embedded in web pages work perfectly, but I can't play regular QuickTime .mov files with WMP10. When I try to open a .mov file in WMP10, I get the error message:Cannot allocate memory because no size has been set.Does anyone know how to fix this? TheEvilHammer
Is that the only way to get QuickTime Alternative to work? Has anyone gotten it to work with WMP10?

Jeremy
Just use MPC from now on and ditch WMP10.
TheEvilHammer
Just use MPC from now on and ditch WMP10. Well, I don't like having multiple media players installed on my computer - I'd rather use WMP10 for everything. Does anyone know how to fix the memory allocation problem? Jeremy
Then use XPLite to remove WMP10. Or disable WFP and delete the program files directory then clean out the registry. MPC combined with FFDShow is easier on the CPU, anyway.
