beccatigger
XP has done this several times on me now, it just suddenly restarts (always when I'm right in middle of sumthing important!) and then it says "serious system error" when I get back in again......has it happened 2 anyone else or is it just me?That's the Home edition I use btw
vcant
does it just restart, or you get BSOD first (blue screen)?

vcant
another person had the same problem today....coincedence ha....it might be because of the CPU overheating, you should definitely check your fans, if they working properly.and dont forget the antivirus..... nekkid
Didn't you *just* reinstall it?Do you have Ad-Aware? Anvitivirus program? You probably have a virus of some sort. Generally (not always), XP will specify if it's a hardware issue with a nice BSoD.
