Im an old 35 mm guy , but on a recent dive .. my good old olympus took a swim .

so Digital Camera.. so many .. out there which one for an old 35 mm guy like me?

REcommendations would be nice

i have an SLR camera, so for me to choose a digital camera on a low budger was really hard,

i finally got Olympus c-300 (d-550 in US i think), and its pretty good, im quet happy about it,

it really depends on the budget , Canon G2 or G3 are really good as far as i know

I am looking at the Canon PowerShot G5. Considering I am from the "old school", I wanted something that can give me decent resolution and give me some of the controls that I have on my SLR.

But if you really want to go SLR, check out the Canon EOS 10D.

Ya, thats a really good and reliable cam! A bit pricy thou ... I would stick with a G3 ... Its cheaper
