alucke Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I downloaded the boot disks for XP Pro from microsoft. I am upgrading my sister-inlaws PC to XP. Is there anyway to silently install XP Pro? So, when i return the her puter to she have to enter the cd key.alucke
Sonic Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 You must reburn the cd with winnt.sif answer file. and leave cdkey line to allow manual entry. For that look in my sig for the master unattended windows xp guide !Perhaps you can add winnt.sif directly on floppy too .. but I don't know on what floppy and I don't if that works really, I havn't tested.
