Unclassified Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Hey i dont know if this helps or not but you cant overclock a celeron 700mhz on socket 370 so i dont think you can but im not sure.
LLXX Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 If you can change the external clock you should be able to oc it.100x11 is the default speed 1100MHz110x11 is a 10% oc 1210MHz120x11 is a 20% oc 1320MHz128x11 is a 28% oc 1408MHz and would be as far as I'd go with stock cooling and voltage.
puntoMX Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 I OCed 600MHz celeron 2 CPUs at 1132MHz on CUBX motherboards from ASUS with aircooling and the CPU at 2.0v (high, I know, don´t try it directly ). I never tried a 1100MHz CPU, but it just depents on your mobo. So, the question is, can your mobo do it? What brand and type of mobo you have there?
Teh_BuG Posted January 18, 2006 Author Posted January 18, 2006 mobo? a POS, thats what its a Compaq Evo D300mt and they have MR825 boards i think ami biosthe newest drivers i can find for the damm thing are soo old :/ive tried to change the clock multiplyer but the only way i had to actuailly check the clock was in "my computer"'s proberties box and i think thats a text file if i remmber i'll try again with everest.thnx 4 helpz
LLXX Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Compaq? You can forget about OC'ing it. Their mobos don't have adjustable frequency and voltage, but you should look around in the BIOS setup to make sure.
