Hello there everyone.

The last 3 days I have been customizing my windows install, and now i would like to get some feedback on it.

First I have integrated all updates using NLite.

Then I removed most unnecesarry (sp?) stuff, so i could get everything on 1 cd.

The filesize now is 678 MB, including SP2, updates and Media Center :D.

After that i tweaked the remaining settings using NLite.

Then i found out about custom setup billboards, and that's when the visual customization started.

BTW, my msn nick has been redfox for 10 years now, that's what gave me my inspiration.

Okay, here we go.

First off, setup's custom autorun:

The second page of autorun:

autorun26iy.th.jpg

And the third page of autorun:

autorun35ta.th.jpg

Then we have the screen we get when starting the setup from within windows:

setupfrontpage8me.th.jpg

And here we have the setup billboards we get when we start setup from boot:

setupbillboard6ga.th.jpg

Here is my custom bootscreen, simple but effective I think:

bootscreen1ia.th.jpg

Then we have the uiLogin screen:

login0uj.th.jpg

And lastly, my desktop and startmenu, i used the Slate Refresh VS from Vista beta. This is the exact way it looks when you first log in after

setup completes:

So tell me what you think about it, and if you have any more suggestions.

Also if you need any help, just give me a PM.

And I would like to thank everyone on this site for their helpful turtorials, posts and programs.

I couldn't have done it without you.

/me heads out into the woods with a net...

BTW, the 'RedFox' nick in the screen shots seems familiar ... dont suppose you used to hang around the zoo with that nick?
