January 6, 200620 yr Hi!I do a SysPrep on a machine and integrate some Mass Storage drivers in it...For some drivers, I get a warning titled "Hardware Installation", I'm tired and I want to get rid of them...I've tried 2 things...First, I specified this value in Sysprep.inf file....[unattended]OEMPnPSigningPolicy=ignoreSecond, I changed the computer "Driver Signing Options" to Ignore.I keep getting those **** warnings.I did a little script with AutoIt (www.hiddensoft.com) to answer those popups, but I can't use it anymore, so I need a "legit" way to do it...Thanks for your help!ShrimpyOne

There must be a way to do it, to disable this warning...even if I added the -quiet swith to sysprep.exe it still brings thos **** popups!Thanks!ShrimpyOne
January 6, 200620 yr I know this problem too, and if a solution exists it's VERY good ! I have tried with these regs tweaks (http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?s=&showtopic=64484&view=findpost&p=444268 ) but nothing works ... since this problem I keep my original i386 source with simple unattended answer ...
February 2, 200620 yr I've read that if you download new device drivers to add - do NOT use a Windows XP SP2 PC because all SP2 users will receive a prompt if the driver applications runs at startup. Don't know if this is the same thing you are recieving or where you are getting your mass storage device drivers from. Just thought it might help.

Here is what I used...http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822798I performed "Method 3". What may have caused the condition is that I was deleting *.tmp and *.log before doing my sysprep. The Catroot2 folder contains log files. At any rate, I hope this helps.
August 30, 200718 yr just out of curiosity why can't you use your autoit script? no third party software needs to be installed, make the script an exe and away it goes. I have one here: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...st&p=555535 that I used for the same thing.The correct way to do it is to only use signed drivers for the massstarage controllers.
