Had the exact same thing happen to me this week.. Here is what I used... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822798 I performed "Method 3". What may have caused the condition is that I was deleting *.tmp and *.log before doing my sysprep. The Catroot2 folder contains log files. At any rate, I hope this helps.
