my only concern would be if the same person was registering multiple times to ask for an invite.

This could be a problem and would be unfair for the rest of the people who are asking for only one invitation. Though if there is anyone who did this first of all I'm telling him "Shame on you" ...secondly keep this in mind. After you received your invitation, in a few days (2-3) you get your own invitations (10) which you can give away, so you can invite yourself !
