FAQ | nVidia Geforce Go 6200: where to get the driver?

i brought a new laptop it has a 256mb geforce go 6200, but the drivers on the nvidia site wont install, can anyone help??

Nvidia doesnt support notebook graphics...you can use Bashrats graphic pack or goto

laptopvideo2go.com and use a patched inf. file

I agree with mediapla: that's the easiest solution. The best option is to:

1. download the latest driver from nVidida.com (currently 81.98)

2. extract it

3. download the 'modified INF' from www.laptopvideo2go.com

4. move that .inf file to the folder where all extracted files are

5. control panel -> system -> hardware -> device manager -> "unknown device - display adapter" -> (right-click) update driver -> advanced (select a folder) -> navigate to the folder where the extracted files are -> install
