What regtweaks can be applied at cmdlines.txt?

Im a bit confused as of what regtweaks that can be applied to "all users" and from cmdlines.txt.

I have one UserTweaks.reg and one systemtweaks.reg.

I call UserTweaks.reg from cmdlines.txt and systemtweaks.reg from cleanup at the end of install.

In UserTweaks.reg I have ONLY HKCU entries, as i believe to have read that only these can be applied at that stage, is this correct? (systemtweaks.reg is mainly HKLM entries)

I recall reading something about some tweaks not working at T-12.

Well for example i have a tweak in HKLM that activates two custom fonts.

That tweak is applied during cmdlines.txt and works perfectly.

Obviously this doesnt mean some tweaks wont work at this point.

I recall reading something about some tweaks not working at T-12.

Perhaps, I stated that in the registry guide. I can't name a specific tweak, they just pop up occasionally as board questions Actually, sometimes you need to apply HKLM tweaks at T-12 (I recall something related to the installation of Alcohol 120% at the first logon - it needed an HKLM tweak to go smoothly). On the other hand, I've never heard of HKLM tweaks failing to apply when imported in Windows GUI.

So, if you use one file for both HKLM and HKCU and want to ensure 100% correct import you have two ways:

1. Test every single HKLM tweak at T-12, then include in the main file

2. Apply the tweaks both at T-12 and Windows GUI stage (RunOnceEx, [GuiRunOnce] as glent suggested.
