nateboi Posted November 22, 2001 Posted November 22, 2001 Hey Guyswhen i plug in my old microsoft sidewinders joystick into the back of my geforec 2 mx 400 card and try and set up the joystick in the control panel windows always just reboots on me and doesnt install it. Even if i select some crappy generic joystick and click ok the whole computer just restarts......any ideas?

phants Posted December 2, 2001 Posted December 2, 2001 When I tried to install my Sidewinder Joystick it refused to let me stating "only administrator can do this " I'm only user!!!However when i tried J/Stk it worked fine.!!maybe yours will.
zErO Posted December 2, 2001 Posted December 2, 2001 I have a sidewinder freestyle pro usb j/s, although the original software drivers aren't compatible with xp I had it connected when I installed xp and xp installed its own drivers..........not to sure what u have?? is it serial or usb anyway mine doesnt connect into my asus geforce card are u sure uve installed it correctlydoes nothing happen when u first turn on the computer? does it not seem to reconize any new hardware?? give us some more info and I will try help u out!!!
