nateboi Posted November 22, 2001 Share Posted November 22, 2001 Hey Guyswhen i plug in my old microsoft sidewinders joystick into the back of my geforec 2 mx 400 card and try and set up the joystick in the control panel windows always just reboots on me and doesnt install it. phants Posted December 2, 2001 Share Posted December 2, 2001 When I tried to install my Sidewinder Joystick it refused to let me stating "only administrator can do this " I'm only user!!!However when i tried J/Stk it worked fine.!!maybe yours will. zErO Posted December 2, 2001 Share Posted December 2, 2001 I have a sidewinder freestyle pro usb j/s, although the original software drivers aren't compatible with xp I had it connected when I installed xp and xp installed its own drivers..........not to sure what u have?? is it serial or usb anyway mine doesnt connect into my asus geforce card are u sure uve installed it correctlydoes nothing happen when u first turn on the computer? does it not seem to reconize any new hardware?? give us some more info and I will try help u out!!!
