XPero Posted December 28, 2005 Share Posted December 28, 2005 I was using SI3112r 1.0.0.51. Today I went to Windows Update and it updated my SI3112r to version 1.0.0.53 dated 10/11/2005. Dynaletik Posted January 7, 2006 Share Posted January 7, 2006 Before I knew that Microsoft Update stores the drivers in the posted folder, I just did this. I updated the version info in the drivers inf file. Then I went to the system32\driver folder and copied the si3114r5.sys out of this folder. Then you have got the new driver itself, but the .cat file isn't updated and the inf file is just edited, not updated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
