December 28, 200520 yr I was using SI3112r 1.0.0.51. Today I went to Windows Update and it updated my SI3112r to version 1.0.0.53 dated 10/11/2005. Ive searched and searched but no luck in findiing a download link for them. Can anybody help me on this?

January 7, 200620 yr This is how I updated my Si3114r4 driver (it's the same as for 3112r):I updated the driver via Microsoft Update and then went to "%systemdrive%\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download".There the whole driver was stored. Try this. I hope this helps.

January 7, 200620 yr Before I knew that Microsoft Update stores the drivers in the posted folder, I just did this. I updated the version info in the drivers inf file. Then I went to the system32\driver folder and copied the si3114r5.sys out of this folder. Then you have got the new driver itself, but the .cat file isn't updated and the inf file is just edited, not updated.
