icons have backrounds?

i installed xpize and all the icons on the desktop have a dark blue backround behind the letters.

How do i get rid of those backrounds?

Right click my computer > Properties > Advanced Tab > Performance Section > Settings > Select "Adjust for best appearance" radio box and press OK apply ok etc etc and it'll sort it

"Show shadows under icon labels" or something likw that will do the job. Also, XPize Settings let you do it as well.

You may also be using a PNG as wallpaper or some other wallpaper bug.
