Right now I am using 16k chunk size/16k stripe size for my windows . I have tried 16k/4k, 32k/32k, and also 64k/64k for my windows but I have come back to 16k/16k since I have found this to have the best performance. When I work with large video files I have them on a seperate raid 128k/128k partition.

Hmm...I see what you are saying. Because I was gonna get 4 15k rpm 147 gig SCSI hard drives RAID 0 and stick the OS and app installs on that and also use it as a scratch disk for vdo editing. And then I was gonna have 2 x 500 gig 7200 rpm Seagates for storage and backups also in RAID 0 with a tape drive as a back up for the whole system. So since the vid files are going to be store on the 1 TB array but the manipulation probably done on the scratch disk array...maybe it would be better if I created another array based on a SCSI setup separate for scratchdisk purposes?
