9diov Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 After uninstalling Xpize, I couldn't restore cmd windows to default (black background and white characters). It remained Xpize cmd with blue background and green characters. Plz show me some ways to change it back. Thank you.
EchoNoise Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Right click on the title bar of the Command Prompt... and the click Defaults... then on the tabs, click Colors, and change the colours to what you want it to be... and then click OK...Close and Re-Open Command Prompt and ta-dah !!
9diov Posted December 1, 2005 Author Posted December 1, 2005 It didn't work that way. I even tried another way: restore cmd.exe but it didn't work, either.
colinbate Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 (edited) Its not defaults you change the colour in (it dosnt do anything) you need to use propertiesRegardsColin Bate Edited December 1, 2005 by colinbate
laurens Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 go to the uninstaller and remove the dos color option for the cmd screen. Its a reg tweak.
9diov Posted December 5, 2005 Author Posted December 5, 2005 I've found a solution. Anyone please upload file Default Commnad.reg in c:\windows\xpize\resources for me. Thanks in advance.
