i've tried by creating some password but it keeps saying "This post is password protected. To view it please enter your password below" . why was that?

it sounds as if he has his blog post to friends only, and if you're not on his friend list you can't view it..

i got a livejournal and every entry i have in it is private.. only some friends of mine have access to it.

When you are creating a new Post (with Wordpress at least), you have an Option to Password Protect that same Post.

Thats problably what happened. You can have all the content of the Blog with no passwords and just one post password protected.
