HFSLIP to slipstream Microsoft Color Control Panel Applet for Windows

It requires .NET Framework 1.1 so I believe you can only get this to work as a silent install (make a silent/switchless installer and place it in HFSVPK) but it needs to be installed after .NET 1.1.

so,if I put both the NET and the Color Applet switchless installers on the HFSVPK folder, which one will be installed first ? Does HFSLIP process the files alphabetically ?

As far as I know, SVCPACK is the Windows installation program's business. It should process the files alphabetically so rename the Color applet to something like "zClrCPA.exe".

my experiences: .NET was not installed properly via SVCPACK. I needed to install .NET via runonce during first logon of Administrator.

Strange. I'm installing .NET 1.1 for a while now (because SF8 requires it) and .NET 2.0 recently. The .NET 1.1 silent installer is a package from RyanVM and I've found the .NET 2.0 silent installer somewhere on these forums. I haven't had any problems so far...

Hmm... I take that back... At least part of it.

I just remember that Event Viewer is riddled with error messages for .NET 2.0:

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( .NET Runtime ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: Unable to open shim database version registry key - v2.0.50727.00000.

Edit:

Whoops... Nevermind.

I just realized I'm talking of a partition that contains a "fully manual" installation of Windows 2000 (ie, the .NET Frameworks were installed LATER) so it's a problem with the installation program of 2.0 itself.
