Can i add integrate Hotfixes normaly ?

Hi,

I just tried HFSLIP on my existing unattended Win2000 Installation. I followed the manual by the letter and had NO issues at all in slipstreaming hotfixes, IE6 and WMP. GREAT JOB !! :thumbup

My question is as mentionned in the titel. Is it possible to add future hotfixes in the hfslipped i386 by the tradionnal "/integrate:" switch or musst i rebuild the whole i386 with hfslip everytime a new hotfix appears ?

Greetings

I'm not certain that the integrate works with 2k. But if you want, try it out and see what happens. BTW, the integrate switch only adds size to your svcpack folder and does not slipstream it.

In normal circumstances the /integrate: switch works in 2K as in XP. This depends only from the hotfix himself.

Thx - i will give it a try on next patch-day !

Jackrip, I think what TommyP is saying is that the /integrate switch doesn't really integrate the hotfix, i.e. replace files with newer versions, it just adds the hotfix. So what happens is that the old files are preserved and installed, then are replaced with newer ones. So not a true integration.
