baal321 Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 Here's the situation - I work for a higher education institution with a volume license. The main IT guru has released the slipstreamed (XP+SP2+some hotfixes) i386 folder to me for use in creating an unattended setup CD. I followed the instrcutions (other than slipstreaming) given at msfn but on the target system immediately after "Enterting setup" message I get Please insert disk labeled Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 into drive A. Could someone point me towards where this message would be coming from and why its appearing at all? (And of course how to fix it )

cluberti Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 I second the previous post - you sure you've got the proper files for an SP2 CD on the root of said CD? Sounds like you're missing something there...

Vadikan Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 The error message is caused by the absence of the marker files WIN51, WIN51IP, WIN51IP.SP2 in the CD root.
