the-dogs-nutts Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 i hope i have posted in the right section........when i'm at work the network router block's certain site'sand then we have to ask the IT guy for access to them, problem is if your not the IT guy'sbuddy or doing him any favour's then you got NO chance, my question is: IS THERE ANY WAY AROUND THIS, LIKE SHORTCUT KEYS, CHANGING SETTING'S IN IEPUTTING CODES IN BEFORE WEB ADRESSES, any sort of help would be appreciated
chilifrei64 Posted November 7, 2005 Posted November 7, 2005 (edited) easiest way is via a proxy server.from inside IEtools -> internet options -> Connections -> Lan settings -> use proxy serverfill in the fields with the information here with one of the addresses/ports from this sitehttp://www.atomintersoft.com/products/aliv...high-anonymity/the only other way I can think of would be to beat up the IT guy Edited November 7, 2005 by chilifrei64
