November 5, 200520 yr you can pretty much forget "response times" as reported by the manufacturer. they are largely meaningless. read why at tomshardware.com. read a lot of user reviews to get an idea of how well an LCD preforms for gaming. also, many buyers of the dell ultrasharp 24" are reporting a high pitch whine. i don't know if the same goes for the 20".
November 5, 200520 yr Author ^ I didnt really care about the advertised response times on the viewsoni i am getting. I did restrict my search to 12ms or better, but i decided for the VX924 because its a good price for a namebrand 19" DVI LCD, it looks good and its got good specs and reviews for its pricerange. Cant wait to get this thing!
November 7, 200520 yr Dell 24 inch model is great and people swear by it. The 30 inch Mac display is what i would go with if you have the bux and the hardwarez.
