you can pretty much forget "response times" as reported by the manufacturer. they are largely meaningless. read why at tomshardware.com. read a lot of user reviews to get an idea of how well an LCD preforms for gaming. also, many buyers of the dell ultrasharp 24" are reporting a high pitch whine. i don't know if the same goes for the 20".

^ I didnt really care about the advertised response times on the viewsoni i am getting. I did restrict my search to 12ms or better, but i decided for the VX924 because its a good price for a namebrand 19" DVI LCD, it looks good and its got good specs and reviews for its pricerange. Cant wait to get this thing! :)

Dell 24 inch model is great and people swear by it. The 30 inch Mac display is what i would go with if you have the bux and the hardwarez.
