Mikep7779 Posted November 2, 2005 Author Posted November 2, 2005 Err, with v6 you need quicktime, is there a installer with it (silent)?
seapagan Posted November 3, 2005 Posted November 3, 2005 Err, with v6 you need quicktime, is there a installer with it (silent)? With all versions of iTunes you need quicktime, however, you can use the 'Quicktime alternative' which is a smaller footprint and does not take over your computer so much, hence the 'quicktime free' version. One thing for you though - you cannot install itunes using only the msi and msiexec - you must use the installer otherwise most of the drivers etc will not be installed (for ipod, burning etc). You can create a silent installer by passing the relevant (standard msi) parameters to the standard apple installer on the commandline in the format /V"parameters", search for them cos I cant remember off the top of my head.SP
