Mikep7779 Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 Well, under my network connection i see a 1394 connection, i want to know how to get rid of this b/c im going to be setting up an unatended install and want to set a static ip. I dont want the ip to be set the the 1394 adapter but my nic card.
zippity Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 If it's an add on type of thing eg a PCI firewire card, I'd temporarily remove it, if on the other hand it's integrated into the mobo, you can go into BIOS settings at bootup and disable it. regards Z.
