Micropocalypse Posted November 15, 2001 Posted November 15, 2001 anyone know a good free web host with lots/unlimited space, custom cgi/perl and mysql/other sql software?
Guest LouCypher Posted November 24, 2001 Posted November 24, 2001 you might check out http://www.t35.comIf you get signed up before a certain date it's supposed to be unlimited space, otherwise it's 35MB. They've got popups, but the offer FTP and perl/CGI.My link:LouCypher
FthrJACK Posted November 24, 2001 Posted November 24, 2001 theyr under pops though so not quite as annoying, i might check them out later

[/quote:130d1cdc24]Go to their help forum and request a MySQL database and I think they'll tell you all the info needed. And why not use vBulletin for a forum? Much better than any CGI board out there.

Guest aMb Posted December 5, 2001 Posted December 5, 2001 You need to change config.cfg, anyway I would recommend using vB if you want to run a forum. F2S use to offer free hosting for this but they have slowed down on giving out web space.http://www.100best-free-web-space.com/ is another useful site if you want to check what other people offer.aMb
