SiMoNsAyS Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 i feel excited , like the day hl2 was released, quake3, UT...i'm wondering how my system will run it... (it was said "if you were able to play D3, you'll be able to play Q4" but on system requirements my 9600 is not listed )

Remember though that the 4200 is a bit better then a 9600 vonilla. But I figure I'll upgrade my card to a 7800 GT after exams - mmm working full time on a 95% desposible income is soooo sweet.

SiMoNsAyS Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 a little review: great game for fans of the series or FPS' lovers. pros; doom3 engine, stroggs looking better than ever. really playable and funny. multiplayer similar to q3 and storyline from q2. cons; sometimes it looks too much like doom3. loading times are a pain in the a** screens on a 3000+@3,3ghz and 9600 pro (about 30/40 fps)

Doggie Posted October 26, 2005 Posted October 26, 2005 to be honest, Quake 4 is nothing more than Doom 3 with different characters. I think its worse than Doom 3 also. The movies however are very good. Certainly another overhyped title
