I have heard from a few ppl that qchain is no longer needed for hotfixes released after sp2. Just wondering if anyone can verify this. Also is there any Microsoft bulletons about this issue?

According to Microsoft, it is included with XP, but I still add it to the end of my updates.

I have not used it since SP2 and have not had any problems.

My last install went fine all was added correctly

Qchain is obsolete !!! the mecanism to keep the good last version of a patched file is integrated in all post sp2 hotfixes (and post sp1 if I remember ...)
