mefisto69 Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 I know there are probably hundreds of other spyware posts because I've read most of them. However I still can't seem to get this little file to quit installing itself and other spyware. I've already ran CleanIT, Spybot, AdAware, TrendMicro online scan, Panda online scan, and NAV 2005 w/ the updates all in Safe Mode. Posting a new Hijack log. Someone please help. This is most trouble I've ever had with any spyware. Thanks in advance.Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1Scan saved at 1:47:33 PM, on 10/13/2005Platform: Windows XP SP1 (WinNT 5.01.2600)MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP1 (6.00.2800.1106)Running processes:C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exeC:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exeC:\WINDOWS\System32\ctfmon.exeC:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXEC:\Documents and Settings\Spencer\Desktop\HijackThis.exeR1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://www.dell4me.com/mywayR1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customize/...://my.yahoo.comR0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customize/...://my.yahoo.comR0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName = O3 - Toolbar: Norton AntiVirus - {42CDD1BF-3FFB-4238-8AD1-7859DF00B1D6} - C:\Program Files\Norton AntiVirus\NavShExt.dllO4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ccApp] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccApp.exe"O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MSMSGS] "C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe" /backgroundO4 - HKCU\..\Run: [ctfmon.exe] C:\WINDOWS\System32\ctfmon.exeO8 - Extra context menu item: E&xport to Microsoft Excel - res://C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~3\OFFICE11\EXCEL.EXE/3000O8 - Extra context menu item: Yahoo! Zxian Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 A hijackThis log from a normal startup would be more helpful. Are you able to delete the file in safe mode, or does it still keep coming back?
Martin L Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 seems that this program can remove it: http://www.superadblocker.com/downloads/SuperAdBlocker.exe
mark Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 You could also take your problem to MSFN malware and Tarun might be able to help you.DL
suryad Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 Not to be rude or anything but could you tell us if you are using an nLited install and how and when you got the spyware on your comp? Because if it is similar to what I am doing then I would like to top before I get spyware in my comp myself and have to reinstall everything!!!
