Catalyst 5.10 Released!

Featured Replies

Thanks............ I Think

It's impossible to keep up with these drivers anymore.

I think catalyst 5.11 is getting released yesterday!

----EDIT

I just tried to download and those scumbags at ATI force you to register to download from their site. I got it from MajorGeeks here The driver should be on the first window.

A telephone number is even required, like I don't get enough junk mail already.

Just felt like repeating yourself there, eh ripken204?

I'm going to keep the 5.9's for now. ATi's 5.11 is supposed to have some 'miracle' performance boost in OpenGL games, so I'm somewhat looking toward to that. Of course, the benchmark was with a X1800XT, so we don't even know if the OpenGL boost will even apply to the older generation cards.

wow, wtf happened there. :o

wow,

I just went back and tried downloading from ati again. Sure enough, no registration required this time.

I heard they were actually going to use 'magic' in the 5.11, this will negate the need for miracles.

I usually wait for a version or two to increase before I upgrade the drivers. Have not been gaming much lately. And also the newer games dont have much of an appeal to me. Splinter Cell 3 was really the last game i got into. That and Battlefield 2. I also wait for the omegadrivers.
