October 13, 200520 yr Thanks............ I ThinkIt's impossible to keep up with these drivers anymore.I think catalyst 5.11 is getting released yesterday!----EDITI just tried to download and those scumbags at ATI force you to register to download from their site. I got it from MajorGeeks here The driver should be on the first window.A telephone number is even required, like I don't get enough junk mail already. Edited October 13, 200520 yr by FaceMouth

October 15, 200520 yr I'm going to keep the 5.9's for now. ATi's 5.11 is supposed to have some 'miracle' performance boost in OpenGL games, so I'm somewhat looking toward to that. Of course, the benchmark was with a X1800XT, so we don't even know if the OpenGL boost will even apply to the older generation cards.
October 19, 200520 yr wow,I just went back and tried downloading from ati again. Sure enough, no registration required this time. I'm going to keep the 5.9's for now. ATi's 5.11 is supposed to have some 'miracle' performance boost in OpenGL gamesI heard they were actually going to use 'magic' in the 5.11, this will negate the need for miracles.
October 20, 200520 yr I usually wait for a version or two to increase before I upgrade the drivers. Have not been gaming much lately. And also the newer games dont have much of an appeal to me. Splinter Cell 3 was really the last game i got into. That and Battlefield 2. I also wait for the omegadrivers.
