easye35 Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 It's called Ncpuby.exe. It's using 14,536 Kb memory. It's in my Windows system32 dir, along with some xml file called the same thing. I googled the name and got not even one hit.
JRosenfeld Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 You could try right click on it, click properties, see whether it gives any info (e.g. description, company,...) in the version tab. Also, if you open the.xml file in Notepad or IE, reading that may give a clue as to what the files belong to and what it does.

sarkar Posted October 15, 2005 Posted October 15, 2005 I think it not a virus... the best way to find out is to google it up.... if it a known virus or something you'll get all info there... try finding where the file is located and see its properties to know who is manufacturer or writer of the file
