ripken204
your spendig around 300$ on those vid cards. you could have gotten a 6800gt instead. and for the mobo you should have gotten the dfi nf4 sli-dr. what ram is that? and do u plan on getting a heatsink? Thai3g_Eclipse
I agree with Ripken. The dual 6600GT is more of a bragging rights than a performer. For a $300 graphic card, I'm surprised they're still using DDR3 memory on it. Oh well. The DFI board would have been a better choice in terms of reliability and overclocking, while the PSU is not bad, there are better ones for the price such as the Antec TruPower 550 or the OCZ PowerStream 520. And yes, it would be great to know what RAM you got exactly.
glent
guys the VGA card was free! its actually 1 card with 2 chipsets and keeps up nicely with the 6800 in some cases. Im not a hardcore gamer anyway Quick question about raid , If i was to buy another matching hardrive whats the fastest setup? and not intrested in more than 250gig space and im not 100% how raid works... I think u can add another drive and uses that speed up the current one ? anway I apreciate any advise @D Edited October 4, 2005 by glent
ripken204
well if all you want is 250gigs and u already have 250gigs, then it wont be helpful, unless you wanted to get 2x120 or 2x160 in raid0.http://www.raid.com/04_01_00.html
