Nakatomi2010 Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 (edited) I've added this back to a CD I've been making and when I run the install all the way through from scratch and it installs the traditional Windows XP theme, but I get all the new stuff except the startbar is the cliassic XP one, and I'm running under the assumption that the starbar should look more like the MCE start bar, which is does not...Or am I only going to get tat startbar using MCE 2005?Basing my complaints on the before and after shots in the 2nd sticky... I should be seeing a rainy version of Bliss and a MCR 2005 class start bar.. Which I think is sexy... Edited September 21, 2005 by Nakatomi2010
XPero Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 I dont know how many times Ive said that: you wont get extras using i386 integration.
Nakatomi2010 Posted September 21, 2005 Author Posted September 21, 2005 My apologies... I'm assuming you recommend installing it after Windows is installed, is there a method to add it using the RunOnceEx method, have it silently install in the background?(You may have said these things often, but I haven't seen multiple install methods listed only an nLite one, so I made the assumption from there.......)
XPero Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 My recommendations is always installig XPize after your system has been setup (including hotfixes, programs and drivers). If you want to install it unattendedly along with you Windows, use the /S switch. I've put a lot of effort in allowing users to install XPize in many ways. Choose the one that fits better for you.
Scubar Posted September 21, 2005 Posted September 21, 2005 (edited) simply install it into windows ur on now. then take the files that have been installed and modify them until they will integrate into ur XPCD. i replaced the original luna crap with the nice royale them. you can follow the guide Here to replace the theme.
