just my opinion and this is a popular template mod with vbulletin if anyone else would prefer just the online people in the same table as the welcome panel?

also the forum would look better if the table width was say maybe anything from about 70 to 80% page width just makes it look a lot better and seen as its thinner if a nice background is used its more obvious as the forums are thinner so the background is more obvious and it looks a lot better although its so simple to do :)

ok made a bg that could be used now, all whoever is going to imply it (which i hope happens because its nice :) ) needs to do is alter the board wrapper in admin and simply add

background="http://clubbersuk.net/screenshots/bg.jpg"

to the body tag.

The background image is available here

and a preview here

could also add this code to produce a pretty nice scrollbar instead of plain windows style

<style>
BODY{
scrollbar-arrow-color: #8896AE;
scrollbar-3dlight-color: #B8C0CF;
scrollbar-highlight-color: #7284A3;
scrollbar-face-color: #B8C0CF;
scrollbar-shadow-color: #7284A3;
scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #B8C0CF;
scrollbar-track-color: #DADFE7;
}
</style>

should look like this...

so bro if you read this post try out my suggestions !!

Jay be producing some nice shiz.. Tris, plz add this.. or try it out and let us vote .. :)

reason for no bg image and just this plain color is this forum will need to fit in another table insid ethe new design and so wont need a bg image, it would look stupid if it did have one and would ruin the tables.

forums will be about 80% in new design.

and locked too, butt heads posting large images like you did breaking the table will be a thing of the past... i hope. if not ill have to make all uploaded images linked rather than showing in the page.. and make page fluid inace anyone else posts large code blocks or images-by-linking.

nice ideas jay, but coming soon... or not coming ever.

the idea with online users bit a top of page is good.. we had it like that before, i think it will go well on new design, however i dont know if we will be using that welcome box bit as the site has its own already. :rolleyes::)
