:) I have 256 MB of RAM, 1.6 GHz, and its taking forever...It says its "Running processes after install". It has said this for the past 10 minutes...Is this normal? (Don't think so...)

OK, I installed it, and now when I logon, I get this message:

A problem is preventing Windows from accurately checking the license for the computer. Error Code: 0x8007007f.

This happened to me the last time I tried installing it, but we thought it was because Microsoft was having problems with their activation thing...Anyone know what the error is? BTW, as soon as I press OK on that error message, it logs me off...

I don't have the corporate edition of XP...

If u get the following warning when updated to SP1 XP

this simple means your using an illegal key.. go buy urself an actual version :) doesn't cost an arm or a leg $99 at the most

I have a **** DELL with a legal key...I'm talking to a Microsoft representative right now...He says it might have been the anti-virus program... :)

Geez...For the last time, why would Dell give me an illegal key? :)

The guy from Microsoft said it was the virus scanner....

maybe it was one of the keys that was flying around the net. Maybe u were the unfortunate Dell Customer :rolleyes:
