Hi !

I have:

Epox 8k5a2

Amd 2000+ XP (1700 mhz)

512 DDR ram 333 mhz

Radeon 9600 XT Sapphire Atlantis Pro (Catalysts 5.8)

I have very low performance in Call of duty: United Offensive before i had 110 FPS in brecourt if i played 1vs1.. Now i only have 25-30 FPS.... Are 5.8 drivers corrupted or is it the Via 4in1 drivers that i installed ????

And not just Call Of Duty also Far Cry, Doom 3, Dungeon Siege 2, Rome TW and even old Counter-Strike sometimes loses performance ( i mean cmon its hl 1 engine)

Does somebody has similar RIG as I. Please tell me what can i do to gain performance in games or what did you do to gain performance.

Oh I have Nod 32 as AV....

And i have no viruses (i think), and i have defraged disk with Diskkepper 8.0 PRO

Should i update bios for Mother board?

I have updated all drivers (Sound Card, MB, Graphic Card,...)

Please help me !!!!!

well , first do, ati drivers, revert to 5.7 , if thats what you were using

but first check to make sure, AA and AF arn't set to full

and then revert to previous via drivers, as there probbally not the cause

remember, use ati driver cleaner, for removing your current ati driver

Hi Bledd !!!!!

I posted my log file but i compressed it with winRAR because forum engine didn't let me attach a .log file !!!!

Those things that i put X at end i don't use normally when i play games.....

And i also confiuged msconfig and services.msc and gpedit.msc to get best performance i also removed all eye candy from xp so they look like win98 or win2000 :D

I hope you can help me !!!!!

Cheers
