@rsd4_u:

The board is a nice board... I haven't gotten mine but a friend bought one and i got to see it last nite, very nice!

@Everyone:

Now the problem lies at the line of the RJ-45 ports located on the back IO panel... for some reason(Im not sure if it is a bad board or not) the ports do not work... Windows and see them... but when u try to access a broadband connection it doesn't work... It will send packets but it will not recieve any... any ideas?

I have been looking over everything on the mobo and in the clean install of Windows XP Professional... and everything looks good... but im confused at what could have caused this to be a problem with it?

:realmad:

Which port doesn't work (or is t both of them)? And does it say anything in the device maneger?

Both of the RJ-45 ports don't work... The device manager sees them but when i try to connect to a network or a broadband connection, it just doesn't seem to work.. I tried installing and unistailling drivers, reinstalling the OS, searched the BIOS... Everything i could have though of that could be doing this. I'm just confused...

are there other computers that can connect to the net? and have you tried old drivers?

Interesting. I had the exact same problem with my Ethernet not working when I had the same board. I gave up on it and bought a D-Link ethernet card from a friend for $5.

@Thai3g: That is what me and the friend settled on was to buy another RJ-45 card, if i couldn;t find anything else that work
