cyanide
make iso files of each disk. then burn all the 6 iso files onto dvd as iso files itself...then install daemon tools, and mount each disk as you want...
ripken204
there is a way to do it without daemon tools. the way pretty much says that it is a dvd version instead of cd. just search google if u really want to know it but the above method will work fine. ripken204
found this for ya, give it a tryMake a folder on Hardrive, name it UT2004_CD1 (This will be the title to the final DVD)Copy all the contents of CD1 to this newly created folder. Then starting with CD2, JUST COPY THE FOLDERS to the newly created UT2004_CD1 folder.Overwrite any folders that are the same (ie: the ‘help’, ‘Texture’ folders etc)Do the same with CD3, CD4, CD5 and CD6 JUST COPY THE FOLDERS over,Now add another folder for the Updates, Patches and Cracks etc. Name this folder whatever you choose. Now open the ‘Autorun.inf’ with Notepad and you need to add the line: open=autorun.exeLike this:[autorun]open=setup.exeicon=help\unreal.icoopen=autorun.exeNow burn to a DVD using the Label: UT2004_CD1

cyanide
then just get the setup.exe file from the dvd version of the game...that would work properly...tho that would be considered warez...

-= Mancubus =-
Thanks everyone for your answers, I'll try to make a DVD one more time. Can anyone compare the Setup.exe's from CD and DVD versions? What's interesting - game installs correctly. It doesn't ask anything unexpected, no errors, everything's fine.Uninstalls also without any troubles. Just doesn't want to run.I installed latest patches, no effect... Edited August 29, 2005 by -= Mancubus =-
ripken204
i could compare them, im wondering if the dvd will only accept a dvd key and if a cd will only allow a cd keywhat do u mean it doesnt run? could be that it need the cd? or is this the game where they made a patch that doesnt require the cd? -= Mancubus =-
i could compare them<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Please, if no difficult. And if they're different, could you send or share through rapidshare.de or similar service the DVD's Setup.exe?Thank you in advance.im wondering if the dvd will only accept a dvd key and if a cd will only allow a cd key<{POST_SNAPBACK}>We'll see, let's try )what do u mean it doesnt run? could be that it need the cd? or is this the game where they made a patch that doesnt require the cd?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>It starts and instantly exits with an error, not even showing the startup logo.It doesn't need the CD, cause I use no-cd patch, if I install original version. The latest patches from creators make game don't require the source to be installed in drive. It was so since Unreal Tournament of '99.
