ripken204 Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 well im trying to install warcraft II b/c its such a great game, when it tries to run the setup.exe, it just does nothing, so i removed the cd and i got this an error saying gcasDtServ.exe(ms antispyware) and please insert disk(or something like that). so what i did was ended that process and the install went fine. but now everytime i want to play warII, ms antispyware wont let it, is it scaning the disk or something?
techniquefreak Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 (edited) Well Rip -You can just disable M$ A/S before starting up the game - can't you. Some things work pretty sluggish w/ the Antispyware running real time so sometimes it's easier to just disable that while running those programs. I suppose you don't surf high-risk untrustworthy sites while playing WC, do you ? Edited August 23, 2005 by techniquefreak
ripken204 Posted August 23, 2005 Author Posted August 23, 2005 (edited) thats what i have to do but i dont want to need to do this, its just annoyingdoes anyone know how to make a mini image of the cd? it has no file protection so it should be easy, i dont have room on my hard drive for the whole disk. if i went this way then i dont need to worry about the problem.
