Found this right on the main page under Latest Updates.....

After carefull consideration I have decided to sell Battlefield Central. BF Central was first launched in March 2002 and has grown into a first rate Battlefield community website providing top notch news coverage and online interaction thru forums/live chat. In order to continue the high standard of service I am looking for a new owner who will continue the legacy.

The list below covers everything included:

- 2 Domain names, www.bfcentral.com & www.bf1942mail.com

- PHP Website complete to include all pages, code and images.

- Pre-Arranged website hosting with total control using the Esnim Admin Systems.

- Customized mySQL Site Administration to add/manage news and staff.

- Licensed vBulletin Forums with over 3,300 members and 43,000 posts to date.

- Community Email Service, www.bf1942mail.com

- Files database (PafileDB)

- IRC Channel ownership #bf1942 Gamesnet.Net

- Battlefield Central Online Store

Offers can be sent to sevendust@bfcentral.com. Serious enquiries only, thanks.

Found out the facts. The current owner came clean. Heres what he wrote in the forums recently........

************************************************

Here's why Im selling:

I have to leave in 30 days for peacekeeping duty in Bosnia with the army so I cannot continue to run the site, I will be away for over 6 months.

It has been an interesting day wondering what my life will be like for the next 30 days before the plane takes off and not having BF Central to work on during that time will be wierd since it has been an integral part of my daily routine for the past 11 months.

Ive had a tremendous amount of support and help from the staff along the way and I hope a few of them will stay on with the new owner to help as well, without them it wouldnt be BF Central.

I hate to see it go but it really needs a new FRESH owner in order for it to continue.
