RECYCLER hidden folder

Recommended Posts

Yesterday i was exploring my Hidden System Fiiles, and i found a folder named RECYCLER on all my partitions.Ive got into it and its has many files with the recycle bin icon, and some of them are 1, 2, even 3 gig in size.

Did these files serve on something or is safe to delete them because that 3 gig can be very usefull isnit?

thx

Chances are that anything that's in the Recycle Bin is safe to delete. You can use a program like CCleaner to help you sort out leftover junk on your hard drive.

System files are a lot smaller than the files you've got, so I don't think you'd run into problems where your computer wouldn't startup again.

The RECYCLER files are just where the Recycle Bin actually stores deleted files. You can delete these files, because Windows will recreate them when something else is deleted (moved to the Recycle Bin).

Yes, but there is no point. Once it's empty, it doesn't take any place. And as said before, it will be recreated any time you delete something.
