is there any way to actually replace the excisting ms paint with paint.net . id like to try to replace it, but im not really sure how or if its even possible,, has any one ever tried this ?

You can delete mspaint with nlite and then do a unattended install of paint.net.

Paint.net will be your default program for images.

well i think this might work but:

maybe you could sfx the entire program folder

then capture the registrys

then put the sfx in place of paint.ex_ on the cd in compresed form?

then add the regestrys in like runonceex script or wpi

i think that may work but it may not be so fast or good

yea i was thinkiing of testing some thing similar to that im vmware but is there any dills that work with ms paint do you know, im trying to avoid conflict

FYI: Paint.NET doesnt require 'installation'.

you can copy an existing installtion from your harddrive

into your uA media, and create an applicable shortcut.

If you leave out the help file *.chm, you'll save near 4meg too.
