and nobody wants to lose their loved ones, buit at the moment there's no other choice.  saddam will continue this until we stop him.  and france and germany.....well they kiss my a**, we don't need them the only reason they don't want to take saddam out is because they sold him parts to build those weapons he claims he doesn't have.    i was watching cnn the other day and they had some liberal crackhead on there bitching that everytime there's a bush in the white house we have a war.  the anchor then reminded him of clinton sending our troops to die in haiti and samolia  and the crackhead studdered and couldn't think of a good comeback, it was hilarious, but back to the point if we don't stop him now we'll have to wait until he really does have a nuke then we he joins up with the n. koreans and others then we are screwed.  the u.n. is a bunch of c*nts anyway . they make policies but when a country breaks them they won't enforce them..  it's pathetic..

the protesters can go f them selves....**** tree hugging hippies..

i agree. Sadam has to be stopped. I am a US Army Veteran, and would go in an instant to protect our country and our way of life.

UN permission for America's war will not make the war legitimate; it merely proves that the Council can be controlled with bribes, threats or abstentions.

Yes ... they have lost quite a substantial amount of credibility in the last few months! ... to bad ...

It's not that Britons wouldn't fight for America. They just don't want to fight for Bush or his friends. And if that includes the Prime Minister, they don't want to fight for Blair either.

True ...

... Texas governor-executioner who dodged the Vietnam draft and who, with his oil buddies, is now sending America's poor to destroy a Muslim nation ...

Indeed! You can be 100% sure that none of the people in the American goverment that want the war have familly / friends at the front!

Anyone see the protests on the news today? over 1 million people marched through London against the war on iraq

100,000 marched through New York too. over a million in Germany, Italy too, and vatican city!

I read it on the front of the Mirror Tris and it said that there was 2 million, but then again that is the press :)

if its not about oil or some other bulls*** why do they need to wage war on the country when some sas or someone else could nip in take saddam out and any one else who thinks they could snatch the thrown.

why does britain always get dragged into americas wars anyway?

america has usually armed or trained whoever there going after.

saddam would have been dead last time if it wasnt for the americans ,who was it 5mins away from storming the palace and assasinating him last time  :)

Snoop,my son in law is an Israeli former army personell.I believe him when he tells me that the Israelis have been using their intelligence for years to try and find Sadaam with no luck.If the Israelis can't find him then we certainly could not have back then.He hides well just as Bin Laden and any terrorist, they play by no ones rules. Why does Britain get dragged in?I don't remember Tony Blair ever hedging one bit through this whole thing. As a matter of fact he's just as big a war monger as Bush.

If the infrastructure and people of Iraq are deliberately destroyed and killed, it will be Saddam Hussein who does so - but guess what? He's doing it anyway. Our intention is to liberate these people, and to rid that nation of weapons of mass destruction – which the UN knows Saddam has, and which Saddam has yet to prove that he’s destroyed. (The burden of 1441 was on him to prove he'd destroyed his WMDs, not on the inspectors or the US to prove he's got 'em.) Former communist David Horowitz goes back to the free speech movement at Berkeley, and details the anti-capitalist, anti-American freak-out we’re seeing. Maybe it’s good that these protesters release some of their pent up anger. It's like multiculturalists: people who have failed to achieve in America, holding America responsible. They only see negative things from America’s actions.
